The Aces outscored Upper Darby 46-16 in the second half and cruised to a resounding 71-41 victory on Tuesday night.
LM got off to a slow start, falling behind 18-14 after the first quarter, but began to chip away in the second frame, going into halftime tied at 25.
The Aces exploded out of the gates in the second half, erupting for a 10-2 run to start the third. LM dominated the quarter in all aspects, outscoring Upper Darby 24-8 and drilling five threes in the period, including three from Steve Payne '19.
LM kept things rolling throughout the fourth as they continued to extend their lead. The Aces defense was key in the second half, forcing turnovers and dominating the boards against a physical Upper Darby opponent.
Every player on the roster saw action, with 11 getting into the scoring column in a complete team-effort. Payne netted a career-high 26 points. Noah Fennell '17 added 14, including four treys. Terrell Jones '19, Khadafy Bilal 17, Deion Davis 18, Naja Walker-X 17, Darryl Taylor 19, Sean Ryan 17, Matt OConnor 19, Harrison Klevan 18, Theo Henry '19 and Jack Forrest 17 rounded out the scoring. LM drilled 11 threes on the night.
This was a solid win for the Aces as they continue their push towards the playoffs. LM will take on Haverford this Thursday at 7 in the KBG in the final game of the regular season. LM will honor the five seniors on the roster who have been a huge part of the program all throughout their high school careers: Khadafy Bilal, Noah Fennell, Terrell Jones, Sean Ryan and Najja Walker-X.
